Spaniard will represent partypoker’s ring-fenced European market

partypoker is delighted to welcome Martí “MartiRoca” Roca de Torres to its ranks of Team Online. Spain’s Martí Roca de Torres currently lives in the city of Mataró with his two daughters and his wife.

After graduating in Economics, Martí completed an impressive three Postgraduate degrees in Teaching, Local Finance and Law, before poker began to take hold at the age of 29.

It was at the online MTT tables where Martí went on to sharpen his game, quickly seeing his bankroll swell and posting a career-high win worth €50,000 at the back end of 2011.

Drawn by the lure of greater riches, Martí decided to devote his time fully to poker in 2016 and enjoyed considerable success in his first official year as a professional player, both live and online. It proved an inspired decision as just one year later, Martí’s career catapulted to new heights when he took down the WSOP Europe Main Event in Rozvadov for €1,115,207.

Despite this sudden success, Martí remains grounded and now divides most of his time between his family and the highest cash game stakes around, while focusing on building up his new channel at twitch.tv/Martiroca. Martí can be found playing at the partypokerEU tables as “MartiRoca”.

Martí said: “I am very excited to be part of this beautiful project. I will try to bring all my qualities to each and every stream, and most of all I hope people enjoy watching my content!”

The signing joins the likes of Jaime Staples and Jeff Gross onto partypoker’s Team Online stable and becomes the first streamer to represent partypoker’s European markets, with the overall focus on streaming quality, engaging content.
